Lin began creating Home Decor in 2014 starting with snowmen. The first 3 were a complete fail and while on the verge of quitting, Tom encouraged her to keep trying. The next 3 were a hit! Since then, Lin has created a new snowman every year as well as penguins, elves, cows, birds, bunnies, chickens, floral pockets, vases, carved plates and more. Lin began working with clay in 2008. Currently, she works with cone 6 porcelain, white stoneware and brown stoneware. She enjoys experimenting with underglaze and glaze on all her clay bodies. Lin has been drawing and writing since very young Her first children's book "The Best Mud Pie" was published by Scholastic as part of the Rookie Reader Series and her first published illustrations were for "The Dreaded Synopsis" by Elizabeth Sinclair. 2018 will bring the launch of the second Polly Holler Gang story, 1 Silly Cow Lost in Middleburgh.
